Regional Program

The TBA established a system of regional centres to encourage the development of more competitive teams at the Baseball Ontario 'AAA' level. Five Regional Centres were created to promote cooperation between local TBA member associations in providing a pyramid of play for Rep players of varying skill levels. Regional Rep teams are designated as 'AAA', while club Rep teams are usually designated as 'AA' or 'A'. Most 'AAA' teams in the Bantam, Minor Midget and Midget age groups play in the Elite League. Rep teams in 'AA', 'A' and 'AAA' teams below Bantam, play in the Interlock League with teams from the York-Simcoe Baseball Association and the Eastern Ontario Baseball Association.

The Regional Centres and their affiliated associations are:

  • Central Toronto Region: North Toronto, North York
  • East Region: East York
  • Etobicoke Region: Bloordale, Martingrove, Rexdale, Royal York, Weston
  • Scarborough Region: Birchmount, East Toronto, West Hill, Wexford/Agincourt, Scarborough Stingers (Rep)
  • West Toronto: Annette, High Park, Toronto Playgrounds, York
  • Independent: Leaside

Select Program

The TBA also offers players a chance to play on Select or house league all-star teams playing in Baseball Ontario's Select Division. There are divisions for players from Rookieball to Midget age.

House Leagues

Most affiliated associations operate house leagues for players looking for a more social experience that stresses equal playing time and fundamental skills training. For information on playing in your area, contact one of the associations listed above.

Senior Leagues

The TBA offers play for adult players in two leagues.

  • Greater Toronto Baseball Association
  • Scarborough Adult Baseball League
  • Toronto Men's Baseball League
