The Toronto Baseball Association (TBA) is composed of amateur baseball associations within the City of Toronto that agree to abide by and comply with the rules of the association. The TBA also observes most rules of Baseball Ontario, Baseball Canada and the Rules of Baseball.
Leagues in the TBA may be classified in the following series for the purpose of deciding the TBA Championships: 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U,14U, 15U, 16U, 18U, 21U, and Senior.
Teams that win a TBA championship, and others, when places are available, also earn the right to represent the association in the provincial championship series, held at the end of each season, usually on Labour Day Weekend, although some series are held earlier. TBA teams also compete in the National Elimination series to play for a chance to represent the association and the province in the National Championships.
Most TBA member clubs also operate active House Leagues for players of all ages. House League players play within their own neighbourhood against other teams in the club. Those House League players looking for a higher level of competition can also be chosen to play on Select teams that play in the Select Division of Baseball Ontario against other clubs in the TBA. For more information on Select baseball, visit the TBA Select Baseball website.
